Liberty Property Trust awards ARCO Philadelphia an 837,540 SF distribution center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.  The speculative building is an addition to Liberty’s established Harrisburg portfolio and will feature T-5 lighting, rail access to two sides, and 55,000 lb dock levelers.

 Liberty Property Trust awards ARCO Atlanta a 350,000 SF distribution center in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Located near the international airport, the speculative facility is expected to be complete near the end of 2006.

 Liberty Property Trust awards ARCO Atlanta a 3-story office building in Chesapeake, Virginia.  The building will be located in an established Liberty campus, and be the first LEEDS certified building for Liberty in Virginia for construction as a “Green” building.

 Liberty Property Trust awards ARCO Atlanta two speculative distribution centers in Suffolk, Virginia.  The 168,000 SF and 126,000 SF facilities will complete the Bridgeway Industrial Complex for Liberty.  The project continues to establish ARCO as a leader in industrial design and construction in the Virginia market.

 First Industrial awards ARCO Philadelphia a 300,000 SF distribution center in Baltimore, Maryland.  The speculative building will be adjacent to the recently contracted 150,000 SF Build to Suit for Alexander’s Mobility, and be complete by the close of 2006.

 Ashley Capital awards ARCO Philadelphia a 220,000 SF distribution center in Chesapeake, Virginia.  This speculative facility is located adjacent to the established Ford Manufacturing plant in the industrial growth area of Virginia Beach.  An aggressive 3 month project schedule from start of footings will complete the facility by the end of spring in 2006.

 Haynes Furniture awards ARCO Philadelphia a 330,000 SF distribution center in Williamsburg, Virginia.  Located in the center of Haynes retail centers in the region, the facility will provide Ff/Fl floors over 100, specialized lighting for furniture, in-rack ESFR sprinkler systems and a 40,000 SF mezzanine office area.  The facility will be complete by the end of 2005.

 Boulevard Home Furnishings awards ARCO a 125,000 SF distribution center in Hurricane, Utah.  The new facility will be located within a mile of the recently completed DC for Orgill in Hurricane, a city centered between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.  ARCO offices in St. Louis and Atlanta will work jointly on the project for completion in the spring of 2006.

 

ARCO Design/Build Welcomes

ARCO Philadelphia welcomes Business Developer Rob Steigerwald to its Mid-Atlantic office.  A graduate of Clemson University, Rob received his Professional Engineers License while designing major industrial facilities around the country.  A Project Manager for two globally recognized design and construction firms, Rob joined ARCO Atlanta in 1999 to pursue new business opportunities.  Rob will transition from Atlanta to the recently established Philadelphia office to continue the success of ARCO in the Mid-Atlantic region.

ARCO Philadelphia welcomes Project Manager Nick Hasapes to its Mid-Atlantic office.  A graduate of Penn State in Architectural Engineering, Nick returns from Miami where he was a Project Manager with a General Contractor specializing in Commercial and Multi Family developments.
